Dear Parents and Carers
Work has commenced in earnest on Stage Two of our building refurbishment. The area is effectively all classrooms and learning spaces which are located on the eastern end of the corridor. As you can appreciate the restricted access points, created by the building site have made life a little complicated for movement around the school site. As always, we will reassess the changes as the building works progress.
In the meantime, we live in the knowledge that the school will have a new, exciting learning environment for our younger children by the end of this year.
Parent Teacher Interviews
It has been lovely to reconnect with families this week as they attended PT Interviews. I hope you found the conversations to be worthwhile.
Thank you to our teachers for their thorough preparation for these meetings.
Semester One Reports
End of semester reports will be forwarded home via Compass on the final Wednesday of this term. Once again, these reports will contain a grade in each subject area. The grade will be a confirmation of the discussion which took place during the Parent Teacher interview.
Catholic Education has indicated that Semester Two Reports will once again include comments in all subjects plus a general comment.
Science Fair
It was lovely to see so many parents and grandparents attending last Thursday’s Science Fair. I understand that numbers of participants were up in comparison to last year.
I would especially like to thank our Librarian, Sally Judd who coordinated this initiative. Despite the complications posed by the impending building works Sally was able to press on to enable children an opportunity to present their experiments.

Book Fair
Just a reminder that if you are yet to visit our Book Fair, sales will continue into next week.
The Fair will be open from:
- Thursday 22nd30-8.50 and 3.00-5.00pm
- Friday 23rd30-8.50 and 3.00-3.30pm
- Monday 26th30-8.50am and 3.00-3.30pm
- Tuesday 27th30-8.50am and 3.00-3.30pm
First Day Term Three
Just a reminder that school will resume on Tuesday July 18th following the Term Two holidays.
