Dear Parents and Carers
We have been told that the much-anticipated replacement of our Senior Playground will commence this week. The new structure, which was constructed in Finland, was selected by the children earlier this year. The softfall is comprised of recycled rubber products, which was viewed as a bonus by the children. We anticipate that the playground will be out of action for two to three weeks.
Please feel free to bring your children for a play after school or over the weekend once the new playground has been installed.
The Junior Playground equipment and softfall will also be replaced over the summer holidays, this should make for a most exciting return to school next year.
Stage Two Building Project
Work on Stage Two is proceeding quickly. All windows have now been installed including the sliding doors which arrived this week. We anticipate the sheeting of the walls will be the next major step.
Next week we will publish an interview of the Site Manager by two of our Year Six Activity Activists.
Learning Support Assistant Week
This week we have been recognising the wonderful work of our ten Learning Support Assistants. On Tuesday the staff hosted a Morning Tea to recognise the significant contribution these staff make to the smooth operation of the school.
We are blessed to have such a hardworking and talented team.
Father’s Day
A reminder that our annual Father’s Day Breakfast will be held tomorrow morning on the Junior Playground. The venue has changed due to the Senior Playground refurbishment.
This event is open to all fathers, grandfathers, and their families.
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m. and will consist of egg and bacon rolls, with gluten-free options and coffee.
All attending children will be invited to sing two songs to their fathers.
Finally, we will require the help of our parents to assist with the cooking and serving on the day. If you can help, please let us know tomorrow morning.
May God bless you and your families.
