Dear Parents and Carers
Year Six Leadership Ceremony
Yesterday our Year Six students participated in an induction ceremony to receive their Leadership shirts and badges. It was lovely to be able to invite a representative of each family member to the ceremony. In order to accommodate these representatives some visitors we were required to sit in our Courtyard keeping close company with our chickens. We live in strange times, if nothing else it will make for an amusing memory in the years to come.
Congratulations to all Year Six children. We feel feel very confident that you will make excellent leaders.

Principals’ Retreat
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I have been/will be attending the Archdiocesan Principals Retreat in Bowral. This is an annual event normally held at this time of the year for all 56 principals in our Archdiocese, an area which extends from Lake Cargelligo to Bega including the ACT.
Wednesday’s agenda will include a new Teaching and Learning Framework entitled Catalyst which is being rolled out across our System. The remaining two days will be a personal retreat for all participants.
Pupil Free Day
We have been informed by the Catholic Education Office that the first scheduled day back in Term Two, 19th April has been declared a Pupil Free Day. All staff will received further Professional Learning in the Catalyst Program (see above).
May God bless you and your families
