Pens Against Poverty
Keys Rezek’s short story was selected as a winning entry for last year's Pens Against Poverty writing competition. Her story was honoured for quality writing and engagement with last year's theme, Voices for Change.
Last Thursday, 25 January, Anglicare Australia invited Kerys, her family and Miss Levi to attend the Pens Against Poverty Awards Ceremony, where she received a certificate and a prize.

Go, Frankie!
Over the school holidays, Frankie Rositano represented the ACT State Futsal Team, which competed at the National Futsal Championships held in Sydney over 4 days.
The ACT team was undefeated throughout the tournament, which resulted in them playing against NSW Sydney in the Finals. After full-time, both teams were drawn at 3 all. We went into extra time, which resulted in no goals! This meant Penalty Shoot Out!! ACT won the shoot-out with 4 - 2 penalties and was crowned the 11 boys CHAMPIONS for 2024!
To top off this exciting week of futsal, Frankie has been selected to represent the 12-year-old boys in the Australian Futsal Team, who will travel to Malaysia later in the year.
