Dear Parents and Carers
Bird Aviary
We are beginning to re-purpose our central courtyard to provide spaces for children to read and work together under the shade of the beautiful deciduous trees.
We are, therefore giving away our bird aviary to the first interested person. If you are interested in collecting the aviary from our school, please call our Front Office.
We have just over two weeks remaining until our Anniversary Dinner at Pialligo Estate. If you have not yet paid for this event, please do so by COB today. This will allow the organisers to give final numbers to the venue.
District Athletics Carnival
Today approximately forty children represented St Matthew’s at the Belconnen District Athletics Carnival at Bruce. Congratulations to all our representatives on achieving this honour. Children who performed well at this level will now progress to the ACT carnival later this year.
Book Week
A reminder that next Friday is our dress up day for Book Week. Our Librarian, Ms Judd has planned a most exciting day full of fun activities including a parade for all children.
